It’s race season – and you know what that means! Women in Galway will be breaking out their big hats and their best dresses to compete for the title of best dressed at the Galway Races, and I have the absolute pleasure of judging, with Caroline Sleiman from Moet & Chandon, the Moet & Chandon best dressed at Galway’s Radisson Blu hotel.

So … what will I be looking for?

Obviously I’ll be thinking about what Moet & Chandon represents, as well as looking for someone who is dressed appropriately for the day that’s in it (that doesn’t mean wellies …) so I’ll be thinking about elegance, someone with a classic sense of style and a timelessness to her dressing, and I’ll be looking for something a little bit understated – there’s nothing worse than an outfit that screams “I’m entering the best dressed competitions!”

I’m hoping to find some women who are dressed in a really unique and different way today, so if you spot me in the Radisson, please say hi (but only if you’ve been taking my style advice on board all these years …)
