It’s fair to say that I spend a seriously questionable amount of my time looking online, and in terrestrial stores, for clothes; I can get away with it, to a certain extent, by citing the whole “job” lark, but there are times when I have to literally tear myself away from the computer screen to prevent myself making any (more) unnecessary purchases. (Top tip: Pinterest has been great for allowing me to “bookmark” items I want, take a breather and come back later! Nine times out of 10 my need has subsided in the interim.)

This week’s online search yielded some stellar results, but my top two are, without a doubt, these gorgeous bags from Asos – one oh-so-practical hold-all, in gorgeous chocolate-brown suede (€89.86), perfect for the autumn/winter season; and the other, well, not so practical but just as beautiful, a Prada-inspired bejewelled clutch (€48.39). Do either of these tickle your fancy?
