On Thursday, July 5th, model and DJ Daisy Lowe will be in Ireland to launch Kildare Village’s chic summer festival, which runs from July 6th to July 29th. The festival will include music performances, bespoke floral couture installations (honestly I have no idea what they are, but colour me intrigued!), a pop-up boutique offering Irish artisan food and a heritage and genealogy trail.

I love this bad-ass picture of Lowe in a Madonna-esque corset!

Kildare Village is one of my favourite shopping destinations in Ireland – I was just down there yesterday, eating lunch and marching, literally marching into French Connection and Coach (below), two stores that have just opened in the outlet! Stores have up to 60% off retail price, so everything is a bargain – with the honourable exception, perhaps, of lunch at Dunne & Crescenzi, which cost €40 for two plates of pasta, a garlic bread and two soft drinks. Yikes!
