Despite the wordy headline, this is not going to be a long, in-depth look at the statistics governing how heavily influenced our consumption habits are by the blogs we read versus the advertisements we see. Instead, I will say: I had never, ever wanted to buy the Christian Louboutin Crosspiga. Never, that is, until I saw Delmy of Fashion Bananas in hers.

The arch of her foot just screams sexy to me, although it could be in combination with her gorgeous 1950s dress (so simple, so beautiful!) and the movement of her body. Who needs ads when you have fashion bloggers to sell your product for you?

In more bad news for those of us with a weakness for shoes and an even bigger weakness for spending, Christian Louboutin has just launched an iPhone app. You’re welcome.
