Fresh from the Brown Thomas S/S 2012 press show (more on which later), I was delighted to see this lookbook pop into my inbox. There are echoes of both Mary Katrantzou and Peter Pilotto in the prints and shades on offer by high-street fave Warehouse. Gorgeous candy shades, beautiful, ladylike shapes and, above all, a slightly relaxed silhouette pervades almost every spring collection this year.

This dress is just divine, and I’m even loving the wooden-soled sandals, whose unforgiving ankle straps I have, unexpectedly, forgiven.

You could put a jumper on a statue of Gillian McKeith and I would practically worship at its altar. Although I’m disappointed that Warehouse didn’t get (or chose to ignore) the “snakeskin is over” memo. Tut, tut.

Love this slightly grungy hair and make-up look – and, again, the minty print is divine. Basically I’m done with A/W and ready to start casting off layers and embracing the heat. I know, I know, where do I think I am? Le sigh.
