Are you planning any holidays this year? Is anyone?! I feel as if, for the past couple of years, the summer holidays of yore have been replaced with long weekends in Cork and overnights in Galway – and while those are beautiful in and of themselves, I yearn for those hazy three-week holidays with my parents, when we’d lounge on the beach during the day and skive off with the Linkin Park-loving German tourists at night. Ah, memories.

This year, I am determined, come hell or high water, to get some sun. Whether it’s in Marbella (to rhyme with umbrella) or Wexford, I’m praying for a heatwave, a week off, and a lot of good books. Oh, and, my wardrobe? (This is a fashion blog, after all.) I’ll be kitting myself out in Sass & Bide, head to toe. I’m currently lusting after this dress, which would just be perfect for a friend’s French May wedding.
