New Year’s day was possibly one of the most surprisingly warm days of the past couple of months – whereas, last year, we were all bundled up in the snow, this year I slept with the window open and went out a-wandering, in search of brunch, with no sleeves. No sleeves, for crying out loud! I’d been dying to wear my new Black Milk leggings and finally found an outfit that I think works with them – monochrome, basically, with a chunky Topshop necklace and kind of 1970s-esque boots from Buffalo. My woollen vest is from H&M, over a cardigan from, I think, Avoca, and a shirt from Warehouse. My handbag is a gorgeous buttery leather number by a US company, Vince Camuto (which, disclaimer, can now boast my sister as design director).

Oh, and see that bag in my right hand? That’s only the sale bargain to end all sale bargains, to be revealed soon … happy Tuesday!
