Have you got your Christmas day outfit sorted yet? How about St Stephens’s Day? Or New Year’s Eve? (For my part, I’m going Mary for House of Fraser on Christmas day, TBC for St Stephens’s and vintage from Shutterbug for New Year’s Eve in the Workman’s – woot!)

Well if you’re stuck, I’ve just got a mailer with a few gorgeous pairs of shoes from, of all places, Carl Scarpa – never my number one go-to store when it comes to fashion-forward footwear, I’ll not lie.

These are the first that caught my eye – probably because of that gorgeous eyecatching crimson shade and, oh yes, the floral detailing. They’re not the most amazingly original design, but they are cute and very festive.

These are very sweet. I love the almost-pointy toe and the scalloped edging, and the colour is just beautiful. Plus, I can see them being oh-so versatile.

As for these babies, they are just perfection: the patent stiletto with a difference, and only €125! I may just be investing . . . plus, it’s always nice to buy Irish and Carl Scarpa is a homegrown footwear brand.
