Mohair + cuffs = perfection

Admit it, this is the most perfect thing you have seen (sartorially speaking) in a while.
I’ve been hailing the virtues of double cuffs for a while now, but rarely do you see a photograph that so well embodies something you’re trying to make happen (and, let’s face it, mostly failing – the Wonder Woman comparisons are too much for my friends, but now that I see this, maybe my problem is that I’m going for gold rather than opting for softer, cooler silver?).
This also makes me yearn for this amazing bag at Zara* that I’ve kind of been toying with the idea of purchasing – because really, I have bags coming out my ears at this stage and am finding it hard to cope with the ones I do have, crammed into a drawer in my tiny front bedroom.
In any case, images like this make me seriously rethink my own aesthetic – and I think it’s fair to assume (though I have lost the link) that it is from a fashion blog – which goes to show just how much influence blogs have on my ideas about fashion, rather than catwalks. The internet truly is changing everything, and not just pornography. (It’s also made so many things so much more accessible – and talk about the choice! Buying Christmas presents has become a logistical nightmare!)
* If you found yourself staying over at a house party, it could double as a pillow! See, beautiful and practical!
