So remember I worked on that Nirvana / grunge-themed photoshoot? I thought I’d share the moodboard with you, put together by make-up artist extraordinaire, Emma Farrell.

Thinking about it, that was definitely one of my favourite shoots so far – we had such fun planning how things were going to go, thinking about the tiniest details, like friendship bracelets and ear cuffs and holding hands . . . I love the feeling you get when you’re being creative, doing what you love, what you’re passionate about. It’s a whole lot better than doing what you think you’ll get paid for, in any case (although that matters too).

In case you missed it (and while I’m on the topic of feelings and passion and grunge), I wrote a piece in the paper last week about how it feels to be depressed. Not suicidal . . . but depressed. It’s a slow ebb.
