I hate to be overly dramatic about it, but this gorgeous maxi dress from Topshop is just stunning – and I can imagine so many occasions for which it would be perfect. (It also reminds me of that dress from Atonement, which can’t hurt its chances of winning me over . . .) Aside from anything else, the way the Topshop team styled it for this week’s newsletter? What are y’all wearing to your work / college / school / friends’ Christmas get-together? I’m almost sold on the idea of wearing a black vintage lace slip as a dress, with LOADS of jewellery and black tights . . . almost! Otherwise I’ll definitely go sequined; I may even take a trip into Shutterbug to get some more bling in my life.
