The case for the winter savings plan – no, really

Today is going to be a “case for” kinda day, I can feel it. In this case (geddit?) I’m talking saving my moolah all through this dastardly winter – but for what? you might ask. Well, you’re right to ask because, kids, I’ma gonna tell you!

For Ashish. What’s Ashish? Oh, LAWD HONEY CHILD! You need to know what / who / what Ashish is before you go running your mouth off – only the most amazing S/S collection this year’s London Fashion Week had to offer, all sequins and whimsy and Doc Martens with flowers in the laces. Yeeeeeeah!

Sequins! Stripes! Sunflowers! Red brick! (There is no way to make “red brick” start with the letter S, just for the record.)

Straw hats! More sunflowers! Side plaits! A sloppy jumper! (The exclamation marks are to denote just how much I love the composite parts of these outfits. Read: a lot.)

More sunflowers! More stripes! More, more, more! (How do you like it?)

So, now that we’ve established what I – the fashion oracle – am saving my money for in S/S 2012, what are you saving yours for?! Do tell!
