Fashion lust list – what I’d buy if I had the dollah-dollah

Seriously, fashion has me bankrupt. When people ask what I spend my money on, after rent and, well, a copious amount of eating-out, fashion is way up there – and it’s a habit I just can’t seem to kick. I even gave up smoking, and I’m still no richer. (Although, listen up, kids, my lungs are clearer, my hangovers are far less painful and my breath smells like honey and roses.) You wanna know why I’m no richer? Oh, yes, well, it could have something to do with the cashmere knit I’m currently wearing, bought in Barneys; or the Marc by Marc Jacobs tote I’m currently toting, bought on My-Wardrobe; or the Stella McCartney wedges I bought, wore once, and accidentally put in the Oxfam bag . . . true story.
In any case, at some point my cup truly did run out, and now I’m living in a no-man’s land of Revenue debt and wishful thinking. No more buying pour moi, oh no! But if I were buying, this is what I’d be buying.
I know, I know, these Isabel Marant boots are just so typical of me – and they’re sold out, so this is a wishful thought not even worth thinking, but . . . wow. I may have to settle for the trainers, due to aforementioned sold-out status. (Or maybe Santa will just get ‘em for me? No?)
How about this gorgeous Chanel no 5 bath oil? Didn’t Marilyn Monroe say she bathed in Chanel no 5? This is the next best thing . . . divine. Of course, it would help if I had a bath, but this is all about dreamin’, ain’t it?
And, of course, more black shoes. I’m really have a black shoe moment – they just go with everything! These Simone Rocha shoes are amazing. Amazing!
What’s on yizzer lust list? Have you started writing letters to Santa yet? I kinda feel like it but I suspect I’ll have to review my lust list and make it slightly less, er, expensive.
Did I mention I’m currently in Portland? Having such a great time chilling out, exploring amazing vintage stores and eating pumpkin pie . . . breaks are amazing. I haven’t felt this relaxed and chilled out and laid back in roughly a year. Loooooooong deep exhalation. Lovely. Any recommendations of things to do / places to go while I’m here?
