And am promptly returning. Why’s that, you ask? Because I paid €47.50 for them in the Grafton Street store – and online they’re costing £19. That’s some sterling-euro discrepancy sh*t I just cannot get on board with.

I’ve also been having trouser difficulties of late or, rather, I’ve been having different trouser difficulties. In the past, I could never find trousers that would fit properly, and now I own three pairs (one of which – see above – is going back tomorrow), but I’m just not quite sure what to wear them with. No matter what I tried on, nothing looked quite right. Maybe I just need to get a chunky jumper and wear them with that.

I expressed this difficulty to a friend, right after I told her about my new fashion column in which I answer readers’ questions, and she said, helpfully, “why don’t you write a letter to yourself about it?”

In any case, here’s an open letter to you: do you wear trousers? What do you wear them with? I wish I had one of the stylists from My-Wardrobe who could come over to my house and style my wardrobe. Ah-mazing.
