A couple of weeks ago, I styled a shoot based around the anniversary of Nirvana’s Nevermind. We wanted it to be very 1990s, with two girls giving off a very teenage best-friend vibe, channelling My So-Called Life and photoshoots featuring Cindy and Naomi in Vivienne Westwood plaid. I was really, really pleased with how it turned out, although we didn’t – or, rather, I didn’t – manage to secure publication. So I’m publishing it here! Let me know what you think.

Photographs by Yvonne Ryan with make-up by Emma Farrell and hair by Byron Yeates. The models were Niamh and Jessie at 1st Option. The delightful Ailbhe McNeela assisted with the styling, which was a cacaphony of brands and labels, checks and stars . . . without her, it would have been a disaster! See more pics apres le jump.
