Smashbox is one of my favourite brands – so it’s odd that (as far as I know) I haven’t waxed lyrical about it here yet. (I did, however, mention it in a little Q&A I did with Emma over at Fluff and Fripperies.) Anyway, I love the primer and love the idea of Smashbox – although I own very little else, I try it almost every time I see it in a pharmacy. I love the packaging; I guess, mostly, I’m used to getting make-up as gifts so I rarely buy anything other than foundation and mascara for myself!

This Christmas they’ve come up trumps with a selection of covetable, season gifts – including this nifty lip gloss set, above (€30). It contains six gorgeous shades – I’d wear each one, and there’s usually a hideous brown floating around in these sets – in travel sizes.

This holiday palette (€49) – I love palettes, I don’t care that I rarely use my Urban Decay Naked palette or that my Big, Beautiful Eyes palette is all but ignored – contains 15 eye shadows, five cream liners, a mini photo finish eye primer and Get-the-Look cards to show you just how to put your looks together. A tip! Don’t bin the cards! They are very useful and you will be sorry.

And finally, the old favourite Photo Finish Primer, my Holy Grail of make-up products. When your skin is slightly oily and your foundation rarely lasts past lunch, this little bottle can make all the difference. This set, which includes primer and a finishing powder, will set you back €40.

So, aside from the fact that I’m talking Christmas at the beginning of November, what say ye?
