Zara, Zara, Zara – or, how many pairs of shoes is too many?

It would seem that there is no answer to this question; one pair of flat winter boots is, obviously, too few, while four pairs of skyscraper stilettos with platforms and a peep-toe may seem too many . . . But then again, Mariah Carey has hundreds of shoes, and I presume no one’s stopping her? But then again, Mariah Carey also has an infinite number of rooms in her McMansion in which to store said shoes, so she and I are probably not coming at this from similar angles.

In any case, not helping my shoe dilemma is, but of course, Zara, whose A/W collection of shoes threatens to push me right over the edge and into crazytown, where I will live, remarkably well shod, with no food and no bus fare. And really that’s not ideal, especially as none of these shoes are made for walkin’.

I have just about convinced myself that I need this pair (above). Seriously – what would they not go with?! What? Nothing, that’s what.

In short, they’re all amazing. I’m a size 6. Send them to the office, if you don’t mind.
