Without pictures of my face, this time. A couple of months back, 17 at Boots launched Adapti-tude Adapting Skin Match Foundation (which I really wish had a much shorter name / subtitle) and sent me a wee bottle to review, but life and my desire to finish my Clinique got in the way, and I didn’t end up using it until the last couple of weeks, for which I am truly sorry, because it’s quite nice indeed.

Now, this isn’t going to break any records for lasting wear, or for glowing skin or expert coverage, but it is a pretty decent – and not too expensive at €8.79 – foundation for daytime, in my humble opinion.

It comes in four shades – extra fair, fair, medium and medium dark, and it goes on really evenly, although the adapting thing does frighten me somewhat, as it appears slightly darker than my skintone until it’s blended out (I have it in fair). It doesn’t give me the super-duper coverage of, say, my beloved DoubleWear, but it does even out and brighten up my skin for a very natural look. In short? I like!
