A couple of weeks ago I had a bit of a sneek peek of Penneys‘ A/W collection when I visited their offices on Mary St – and I was really impressed with the colours and textures that were positively shouting at me from the rails. I missed their press day – Whisty has a good round-up here – but the pics have been released, along with a handy video!

Not enough for you? I have a series of pics from the lookbook – think seriously bright colours, lovely rich textures and some chunky knits (which, let’s face it, won’t last beyond two rounds in the machine).

I love this neon jumper – seriously. But on an equally serious note, I’ve kind of decided to cut down on my Penneys buying. The stuff just doesn’t last as long as I’d like it to, and I end up buying more frequently and more – just more – than I ever would if the things were expensive. And I find myself wondering, would I buy those jeans if they cost €30? Probably not, most of the time, and €30 isn’t even that much in fashion terms.

That said, I do need this dalmation coat. NEED.
