True Blood season 4 premiere – the shtyle (and the shpoilers)

Anna Paquin in shocking nude panel outrage!
In all seriousness, the premiere of the fourth season of HBO’s True Blood was on in the US of A at the weekend, and Fash Mob somehow managed to get a sneak peek, and has a lot to say, about the fashion, and about the storylines (or lack thereof). Read on, dear soldiers, and see pictures of Evan Rachel Wood an’ all. Okay, one picture, but still.
(Is it creepy to anyone else that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are married in real life? It makes their cringey sex scenes in True Blood even more cringey and intrusive, in my honest opinion.)
Rutina Wesley here plays Tara, and for the love I bore her character in season one, I will refrain from saying anything scathing about her heinous shoes. But I will say (and here’s where the spoiler hits the fan) that series four does not seem to bode well for Tara. Not only has she become a cage fighter (um, hello Ryan in The OC?), she has become – but of course – a lesbian, after her terrible experience with that really hot man whose name I always forget (also, hello Marissa in The OC). Because all lesbians are lesbians because they hate men, obviously.
Um . . . I quite like this. I think those are Louboutins. I quite like this. That’s about all.
Vinnie from Home & Away! Come on, I wasn’t the only one thinking it. And then, because I always leave the best ’til last:
And . . . breathe. What do you think about True Blood? Do you watch it? (If not, why not?!) And if you really want to know all my thoughts on the telly, little-known fact: I do a podcast with my cousin, Roseanne, The Rosie View.

Hello Rosemary, I saw the premiere of True Blood this past weekend and as an extra treat they have released episode 2 early because of the 4th of July holiday. I will not give anything away because I am not sure when you will get to see it in Ireland. I have to say this, I am a loyal fan of the show and the book series it is based. I can honestly say I do not know what the big deal is over Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin, for me the supporting characters are alot more interesting. I like Rutina Wesley (Tara), Chris Bauer (Andy), Sam Trammel (Sam), Kristin Stratten (Pam), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette) and the young girl whose name I cannot think of that plays the hilarious Jessica. My favorites though are Ryan Kwantan (Jason), Joe Maganello (Alcide), and of course Alexander Skarsgaard (Eric).
This season is based on the 4th book in the series Dead to the World, I highly recommend this one because it sets up all future action in this series, but I will say Alan Ball has gone his own way sometimes. I hope you enjoy it when you get the chance to see it.
