There is so much wrong with this picture. Both of these lovely royals are quite young, is the first jarring fact. Beatrice’s shoes imply an elderly lady whose days are spent watching re-runs of Murder She Wrote, while Eugenie’s outfit suggests she’s auditioning for a part in Ab Fab: The Low-Budget Musical.

Obviously I was there ignoring the elephant in the room that is Beatrice’s rather clitoral hat. (I’m sorry, there is no better description.)

On the upside, Eugenie’s shoes are quite nice, and she has a cracking figure. Go Eugenie! There’s hope for you yet.
