So I’ve had a bit of a to and fro in my head about this. On the one hand, I really love these designs, by Liberty for Nike. It’s a collaboration I could really get on board with as the traditional English department store has some really sweet, kitsch prints and Nike high-tops are super cool. In fact just the other day I saw a girl at my gym in a pair of high-tops (not while working out, crucially) and I thought, “hmmm, maybe I should get a pair” . . . I’m easily influenced like that.

Anyway the point is, on the one hand, I like them! They’re cute, and kitsch, and the print brings the shoes from skateboard / hipster territory to sweet, unique territory. Don’t you think?

Look! Cute! But . . . and here is my reluctance to post them . . . they’re not available here. They’re for sale in Liberty stores, online and in “selected Office stores”, but when I probed further to find out exactly which Office stores, I discovered that they won’t be for sale in any Irish Office stores. And that seems, well, a bit crap to me. What do you think? More pics after the jump, unless you’re too disgusted by being left out to want to see more.
