(Although – and yes I know I mentioned this yesterday – Robert Pattinson’s piece in Vanity Fair didn’t make the business of fame sound like fun and games.) In any case, here is Perry, in a set of photographs for GHD, shot by none other than David LaChapelle.

Regardless of what you think of Perry, there’s a certain attractive plasticity to the photographs – a LaChapelle trademark – that makes it difficult to tear one’s eyes away. That said, this appearance of falsity is not likely to encourage me to purchase a GHD in the hopes of repeating the effect on my own mane. How about you? Does this make you want to buy GHD?
