Are you familiar with Bambi Northwood-Blyth? She’s a model, innit, but more importantly, she has the most amazing eyebrows you will ever see. Behold:

Here she is in Harper’s Bazaar Australia, in a shoot in March 2010. This is relevant because Tweezerman is doing a promotion with Clerys as part of the Dublin store’s pamper month, and on April 7th they are offering Tweezerman consultations for €5, where you will have your eyebrows plucked by a Tweezerman beautician.

This is a great idea for those of you who haven’t quite taken the plunge for eyebrow waxing or, indeed, threading, but want to know how to get make the most of your brows with what you’ve got. (And on a personal note: if you don’t got a Tweezerman tweezers, go get one. I wouldn’t trade mine for all the tea in China*, I love it so.)

To book an appointment in Clerys, tel: 01-872 8716, and let me know how you get on!

* Sometimes people wonder where sayings come from: for example, one could ask why someone would want all the tea in China. My grandmother used to collect tea, in the same way people collect stamps. There was a press in her house that was full of boxes upon boxes of loose leaf tea. I asked once why she collected it, and she said, “I don’t collect it. It’s in case there’s another war; we couldn’t get any during the last one.”
