Things have changed around these parts, due to two very crucial reasons. Number one, January and February were tough months for Fash Mob and, as such, we are doing a bit of a budget review. It’s not pretty. Number two (second and final reason), Fash Mob has discovered “sport”. Oh yes! Running started about a year ago but in the past month, I’ve really got into going to the gym, going cycling or spinning, swimming, running – although that’s currently on hold due to injury.

So this week I allowed myself a brief respite from budgeting in the form of a splurge on, eh, running.ie. I know, I know, the glamour!

I got this Armourfit top to keep me warm, and to keep the sweat (or light perspiration, as “ladies” like to call it) away from my body.

Then a pair of Newline compression tights, because I, eh, saw someone else wearing them at the weekend and thought they were cool. Yes, I’m smart like that.

Finally, compression socks for my shin splints – and to keep me warm. I’m not sure if I can wear them with the tights, but I might try the tights for cycling and the socks for running . . . I’ll see, I’ll see.

Then today, because I was feeling weak and tired of buying worthy things like sports gear, I took a little trip to The Outnet and ended up with this baby, by Marc by Marc Jacobs. You like? I like! Now I just need something to wear it to.
