Ah, Kate Middleton, how  you continue to induce yawning in me. Today the royal-in-waiting visited Belfast for Shrove Tuesday to, eh, flip pancakes and wave at people, dressed in a Burberry trench.

It’s funny how Burberry, despite making a few forays in a more risky and avant garde direction with S/S 2011′s neon touches, is the perfect brand for Middleton. British heritage meets luxe meets, of course, camel. Still, she looks good, in that typically sloaney way of hers. Bored? Yes. Repulsed? Never.
