There is something about photoshopped, happy, smiling children that frightens me. Surely children should be dirty (especially if on the beach) and in the midst of either building a sandcastle or eating a sandwich full of sand – not hugging like little supermodels while wearing Burberry jackets. I like my kid pictures to be either ridiculously cute or ridiculously funny or – shock suggestion – both. I don’t really want my kid pictures to be . . . (prepares for onslaught of abuse) . . . attractive. Am I alone?!
