The other night, in a true display of spinsterdom, I watched Bridget Jones’s Diary with a friend, and relived the joy of seeing that movie for the first time in a way, as I hadn’t seen it in YEARS. SUCH a great film.

But it reminded me that (a) I haven’t seen Renee Zellwegger around in ages and (b) she must be so teeny if she put on a rake of weight for that film, because she’s really quite normal sized. Anyway in this photograph, taken this week at an awards do in Germany, Zellwegger looks lovely. It’s definitely a “gown”, and possibly too much for some, but it’s a gorgeous colour on her and she looks so happy, not to mention healthy. Thumbs up!
