They say there’s no such thing as a free lunch, but they’re always wrong, because if you look hard enough and, crucially, in the right places, you can get a free everything. The point is: you’re looking in the right place, because I have a €100 gift card for the Jervis Shopping Centre to give away to one lucky winner, as compensation for the fact that, if you’re reading this, you probably didn’t go to Lanvin for H&M this morning (as, if you did, you’d either be lying in a darkened room, or dead).

The card can be used to make a purchase from any of the centre’s stores, including newbies New Look and Forever 21 and comes in denominations from €10 to €1,250 (one has to wonder: €1,250? Why not €1,300 or €1,200? ALSO, who has €1,250 that they wouldn’t already have spent on something from Tiffany? Really, if you’re spending €1,250 on someone for Christmas, it’s the ring, innit?! Well, INNIT?! But I digress).

To win the gift card, leave a comment below telling me who you’d buy a €1,250 Jervis gift card for, and why. (NOTE: you are not going to win a €1,250 gift card. Soz, bbz. The prize is €100, the winner will be drawn by me, at my whim, and no correspondence will be entered into. Go forth and win!)

Edit: I love you all very much, but I want to know, specifically, who you would buy the €1,250 gift card for – and why. Not who you’d give €100 to, and not Brian Cowen for the love of all that’s holy (he earns enough, don’t you think?). Peace out.
