So it’s finally here – Lanvin for H&M has (almost) landed. The French couture house and the Swedish high-street store have joined forces to produce a collection, mainly of dresses and a few pairs of shoes, that will be launched in Ireland tomorrow at 9am in Dundrum and South King St stores.

Am I going? I’m not sure yet. The H&M site says that the first 360 people will receive armbands . . . and this fills me with a faint, cold fear. I dislike queueing almost as much as I dislike timed shopping, and once permitted into the Lanvin area, customers will have 15 minutes each to select their items. FIFTEEN MINUTES! That’s less time than it takes me to decide what to wear in the morning, from items I ALREADY OWN.

On the flipside, I do love Alber Elbaz . . . so I might. What about you? Making the trek?
