Imagine my chagrin when, upon picking up last Sunday’s Style magazine, I noticed that, in the cold section of their index, they had stated that shearling is “the winter trend that peaked too soon”. Excusez-moi,  but I have two shearling jackets in my wardrobe that would beg to . . . oh, I see.

Anyway the point is, after reading that I was in quite the rage, and then today Asos, on its Facebook page, did a compare and contrast session on winter trends, shearling versus faux fur. And . . . despite myself, I’m coming down on the faux fur side. Still, I love my shearling jackets. I own one from Asos, and another from H&M that cost about a quarter of the price, and I prefer the cheaper one. C’est la vie!

How will you be keeping warm this winter? Shearling, faux fur, or neither?
