Today marks the launch of the Peter O’Brien Collection, exclusive to Arnotts in Dublin – a 23-piece capsule collection that’s perfect for mixing and matching with existing pieces, or for mixing up with other pieces from the collection. It’s a very basic colour palette, in black, navy and camel, with flashes of white, so it’s perfect for the grown-up cool of A/W 2010.
The collection was launched with a show on the first floor of Arnotts, which is also home to some great brands including Ted Baker and NW3 by Hobbs (a stellar collection of preppy, casual-cool separates). Prices for the Peter O’Brien Collection pieces start at €110, and my absolute favourite piece from the collection is this sexy (but covered-up) camel top, priced at €165. A selection of sketches for the collection will also be on show in Arnotts café for the month of October.
In other news, I got style spotted! I’m very excited, because I’ve always dreamed of being spotted by the Sartorialist, and this is (obviously) the next best thing . . .
