So Savida, Dunnes’s grown-up, “fancy” (for want of a better word) range, has a new A/W collection, and there are pics available for viewing on its Facebook page and on their blog. A slight digression, for a moment: having a blog is a genius move by Dunnes and Savida. For a notoriously publicity-shy company (I have never had any success trying to get Dunnes to talk to me), this is a really clever move; an opportunity to showcase Savida in the media, as well as job opportunities – and, word to the wise, Dunnes’s buying departments is one of the best places in Ireland if that’s where your career is ideally headed.

I wrote about Dunnes a few months back, and how a recent revamp had seen them bringing out covetable (and beautiful) collections; this latest by Savida is no different, and has echoes both of Céline and Victoria Beckham, all at affordable price points and - crucially – available nationwide. Feast your eyes:

Loving the grey tights paired with the neutral shoes, too – not to mention the trousers at the top, that remind me of Clémence Poesy, or Audrey Tatou (obviously digging the French vibe over here).
