Hello! I’m Selena Gomez. You may recognise me from the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place! Or, more likely, you may recognise me from the fact that I dated a Jonas brother and regularly turn up on red carpets looking a little like a 16-year-old dressed in my mom’s clothes, which is patently unfair as I am, like, totally 18! EVIDENCED (duh!) by my irreverent showing of skin! Lookit! I’m old enough now, I’ll wear what I want! Hang on, what’s that? Sorry, I have to go inside now, apparently if I stay in the sun for longer than 10 minutes I start to cook. Toodle pip!
And now. Stephanie Pratt and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, formerly of MTV’s The Hills. Lo was, I’ll confess, always my favourite; she’s the unapologetically bitchy one who will come out with the things that I would say, in real life, were I not in a reality TV show where I felt a need to be somewhat conservative. Stephanie is, of course, the crazy one with the DUI and the evil older brother. There’s nothing, I’ll confess, particularly interesting about either of their outfits. Lo has done a clever trick with the V shape of her shoes, elongating her not-very-long legs, and Stephanie is wearing a maxi . . . sorry, I just fell asleep on my keyboard for a moment. Moving along.
Ah, Emma Stone. Emma Stone, who I loved in Superbad and in Ghost of Girlfriends Past, and who I will, more than likely, love in The Help but will determinedly refuse to love in Friends with Benefits, mostly because of the title. Right now? I love her in this leather shift. So now! So fresh! So young! AND! Embracing the red. She’s practically the anti-Lohan! Props to you, kid.
