Behold! More celebrities than you could shake a stick at. The challenge for you, dear readers, is to come up with a wee poem, related to Chanel, and the photographs below, in which you use the word “Penneys” (although you may use it to refer to currency, as I am all for poetic licence) and in which you succeed in being pithy and hilarious. The most amusing poem, decided by me and a select number of colleagues here in IT towers, will win a fabulous €100 voucher for Penneys! Not any Chanel though, soz.

The rules? Entries must be submitted to rmaccabe@irishtimes.com by Friday, September 24th at midnight, and may take whatever form you like: sonnet, haiku (bonus points, in fact, for a haiku that obeys all of the haiku rules), limerick (minus points for limerick as Fash Mob considers them to be overdone this summer), and so on. You may curse, although The Irish Times reserves the right to asterisk  your curses, just in case there are kids reading. You get the pitcher! Now, have at it and tell all of your pithy, hilarious friends!
