So, Alexandra Shulman has chosen Kate Moss as covergirl for Vogue UK‘s all-important September issue, if you believe that the editor picks the cover. Chances are, it’s a little more democratic than that, although it seems likely that she gets the final say.

Anyway, no big surprises here. Behold! Kate looks great! No, it has nothing to do with clever photography and editing by Patrick Demarchelier and everything to do with the fact that Mossy is, like, totally, the best supermodel EVAR. I’m sorry, it’s fashion blasphemy I know, but: yawn. Huge yawn. Massive. I’m beyond tired of the spectacle that is Kate Moss and would just love a bit of a shake-up in the world of British Vogue which, no more than the Sunday Times’ Style magazine (which I love dearly), is a little too obsessed with the ideas of hedonism and ye olde country house.

Anyway, as I am capable of being almost entirely generous and can overlook my own bias and boredom, I will show you a sample of what Mossy’s got going on in UK Vogue. But I will say, if you have €8.86 to spare, you should forget about Vogue and buy Elle Collections, which is awesome and I will be analysing . . . later, here. Watch this space.
