My-wardrobe.com has come over all magazine on us, with this feature in their weekly mailout: they pick a celebrity, this week that celebrity being Dree Hemingway, with whom anyone who’s anyone has a justifiable obsession, and given you the opportunity to dress like her, with, of course, choice pieces from the website itself (and not cheap ones, either).

It’s not an original gimmick, but it’s a clever one – and it’s really well done, with five looks showcased on one page within the website. To Hemingway’s credit, most of the pieces are also really versatile and quite classic, which goes to show one of two things: she either has a great stylist, or she has great style. I think the cleverest way of wearing your clothes is being able to take quite ordinary staples and make them look extraordinary, which this exercise demonstrates Hemingway doing to a tee.

It’s also handy that they’re not advocating doing a direct carbon copy; different shades and shapes make for an interesting take on imitation dressing.
