Garance Doré has just put up a post about the words her friend Violaine told her were banned at the magazine she works for, Velour. Genius idea, genius.

I’d like to add two of my own personal pet peeves: feminine and girly. Because, as far as I’m concerned, if you have boobs and a vagina – and, sometimes, even if you don’t – you can be either, or both, regardless of what you’re wearing.

How about you? Do you have any overused words that you’d like to see banished from the annals of fashion journalism forever?
