So this weekend is, of course, the festival we’ve all been waiting for (ahem, no, not Electric Picnic), Oxegen. I’ll be there seeing who catches my eye, sartorially speaking of course, and taking in some daycent music to boot. While there, I’ll be keeping an eye on what those on the other side of the fourth wall are wearing, and here are just a few I’ll have my eyes on . . .

Jay-Z, Friday night. Will Beyoncé be with him? Will he be rocking more bling than Snoop Dogg? Who knows?!

La Roux, Saturday. Will she abandon her quiff, now that Jedward have claimed it as their own? Will she be rocking some 1980s ensemble? Hopefully and definitely, would be my guesses.

Eliza Doolittle, Friday. New kid on the block, I quite like her first song, jury’s out on the shiny tights (glittery jaundice, IMO) but otherwise . . . one to watch.

Florence Welch, Saturday, with her machine. Flaming locks, some kind of off-beat outfit possibly comprising hotpants and some floaty item. Eagerly anticipated. By me.

30 Seconds to Mars – entirely gratuitous opportunity to look at Jared Leto and remember what it was like when everyone wore plaid and Claire Danes was angsty and JORDAN CATALANO . . . *faints*

Plan B, Friday. This London gentleman has taken to looking very dapper of late on stage, so enquiring minds will want to know what shade of three-piece he’ll be sporting.

Black Eyed Peas, Saturday. Last time I saw them play, Fergie was decked in a Terminator-style robotic suit. At Oxegen, my crystal ball tells me, she’s going in full-on carnival regalia. Not really, but who knows what the weekend will bring?!
