This collection from Philo is kind of what I always thought Marni could be, if the clothes – tailored, almost edible colours, cropped lengths – were designed in shapes that women actually wanted to wear and, more importantly, that suited women’s bodies.

Just gorgeous – and I love the unexpected pops of colour, especially the cropped blue cigarette pants . . . on the high street, my money’s on Reiss and Cos getting closest to this look, with Whistles coming in a close third.
