So the crew at Shutterbug, who, yes, I blogged about before, have uploaded some new photographs to their site, some makeovers they’ve done, and a wedding . . . and I felt like sharing. If you’re in Kilkenny and in need of some photographic help, I would highly recommend checking them out.

I think these shots are all really gorgeous, for very different reasons. The first, it’s the lighting that gets me, not to mention the gorgeous shape; the second, the vintage feel but – look! – she has all of her clothes on, which pleases me; and the last because, well (and I’m no romantic), don’t they just look so happy? Then finally, this shot:

I love the vintage feel of this photograph, and I think it gains a lot from not being overly photoshopped, post-production. There’s a gritty look to it, not to mention the slightly superior look of the model. And her button nose reminds me, ever so slightly, of Playboy model Barbi Benton, who might just be the most adorable creature I’ve ever seen. Look!

You know what? It kind of saddens me that, when I saw that image, I immediately thought of Benton. How do I, a 25-year-old woman, know what Playboy models of the 1970s look like? HOW?! How is this in my mind?

A question for another day, perhaps . . .
