McQueen’s address . . .
Rosemary Mac Cabe
These shots of those now famous McQueen prints are from the second issue of Twin magazine, which I would love to get my hands on (anyone know of Dublin stockists) and is styled by Celestine Cooney, ONE OF OUR OWN. I think it’s hilarious how the Irish media, myself included, preface nearly all mention of the Irish abroad with “our own”, ie “our own Joe Bloggs”.
I know these pieces have been seen before, but I love this industrial take on it – and the juxtaposition of the strong, regal prints with the pared-down androgyny of the model’s hair and make-up, not to mention the bare-bones setting . . .
Aaaah laser-printed silks, how I heart thee. Images via Fashion Copious, where I could, quite literally, spend days on end poring through editorials and model shots.

Cool!!!!
Great styling, striking setting. The model looks like some sort of a famine victim though. Skinny gone scary, I’m not a fan.
Wonderful wonderful!!
