Last night, I went along to the Choice Music Prize in Vicar St, with photographer Peter Fingleton, to scout the best dressed in the venue. And, while I generally look to the audience for my inspiration, Julie Feeney, hands down, won the accolade for best style of the night.

On stage, Feeney was like a musical Helena Bonham Carter, all tippy toes and beguiling eyes – at one point, she came down into the audience and ran around like a deranged, albeit adorable, forest nymph.Oh and for your information, the prize went to Adrian Crowley, for his album, Season of the Sparks.

Peter Fingleton is a photographer and DJ for C U Next Tuesday. He will soon be launching a site of nightclub / event photography at Sharpshock.

EDIT: You should check this out, from a fashion and music point of view (by the by).
