There’s something about Topshop‘s new collections that always inspires some kind of insane shopping lust in me – which is odd, since I generally don’t buy that much in Topshop, other than shoes, that is, which I manage to appreciate in any make or label.
But there’s something deliciously dark about the new collection. Influences range from prairie to ballet, with the ubiquitous bit of floral thrown in for good measure (will florals never go away?! Not that I want them to, but I wonder. . .). There’s also something delightfully Wang about this season’s collection which, while it may not be that original (Topshop is, if nothing else, masterful at interpreting high fashion labels), it’s definitely something worth lusting over.
Keep an eye out for the following pieces, in a store (or on a website) near you soon – but hands off the Chloe-esque blazer and belt combo, below on the top right, I bags them for my own capsule collection. . .
