It’s my last month living at home with the auld pair (I hope). So when I saw that Alexander Wang‘s Hanne boots were reduced on OakNYC, I found it difficult to resist. Well, obviously I didn’t find it difficult, because I fell, head first (feet first?) for the shoes, having seen them on Betty - not to mention my own sister - and concluding that I, too, could be fabulous and French, if only I were to find myself a pair of these shoes.

So what say you? Should I be committed? I just figured, if I ever get interviewed by Elle about my fabulous wardrobe, they’ll ask me what my most expensive purchase was. Now, instead of having to admit it was my Wii, I can say “oh I’m not sure – maybe my Alexander Wangs. . .” Shallow, moi?
