With many fantasy premier league managers looking to freshen up their front line ahead of the final fixtures this coming Sunday one of the big questions is whether or not Daniel Sturridge is a must have.
Well quite simply put the answer has to be yes, after picking up a hat-trick last time out against Fulham a Craven Cottage the Liverpool striker will be keen to carry on where he left off this weekend when QPR come to Anfield.
The Reds go into their final home game of the season with nothing more to play for except pride and with this being Jamie Carragher’s last game in a red shirt they will want to give him a winning send off.
Like Liverpool, QPR too have nothing left to play for, their faith has long since been decided and given their recent poor performances it is probably a good job they do not require a result on the final day of the season.
Sturridge will surely be on many managers radars after picking up his first hat-trick as a professional footballer and with one, if not the worst defence in the league at the moment coming to town the former Chelsea man will be keen to impress in the absence of Luis Suarez.
So heading into Sunday’s final fixtures Sturridge is certainly one to be given high consideration and may very well be a contender once again for the captain’s armband.
