Can Carroll Provide Much Needed Points This Weekend

Thursday, May 16th, 2013 at 6:41 am by Phil Mc Grath

If ever there was a player that was a sure fire differential that Andy Carroll has to be it, the former Newcastle man heads into the final game of the season against Reading showing some of the best form we have seen from him in well over 18 months.

If ever there was a differential that had the potential to deliver Andy Carroll is it.

The Liverpool loanee has settled in well at Upton Park and having suffered with injury now looks to be coming back to his best and is beginning to show signs of the Andy Carroll of old that we saw on Tyneside.

Having long since secured their premier league status for next season West Ham will be keen to go out on a high infront of their home support and what better opponents to do it against than the already relegated Royals.

Carroll will be one that is sure to divide opinion this weekend, but with two goals and two assists in his last six games there is no denying that the man is on form and picking up those much needed fantasy points.

Reading of course are down and out and having conceded eight goals in their last six and 36 in total on the road this season are sure to be in for a tough afternoon if they are to stop the big center forward from scoring.

As I said this one is sure to divide opinion but if you are searching for a differential with the potential to get you a goal or two or even three this weekend then Andy Carroll fits the job description, the question is will you be brave enough to buy him?
