Coutinho Back On The Radar To Face R’s

Last weekend’s 3-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage once again showed that there is life in Liverpool with the controversial Luis Suarez and heading into the final game of the season Liverpool coverage looks vital.

Coutinho looks to be on form ahead of the final game of the season against QPR.

While there is no doubting that Daniel Sturridge stole all the headlines Phillipe Coutinho performance was superb and has certainly caught the eye of quite a few managers looking for Liverpool coverage for the final game of the season.

Coutinho was on hand to pick up two assist last weekend bringing his total for the season to two goals and seven assist in eleven games since his arrival at Anfield in January.

The Brazilian has been in fantastic form and is certainly one to be closely watch from the start of next season, but with one game left to go this weekend against QPR he may not be done just yet.

While on the face of it both sides have nothing left to play for but pride, the Reds will want to go out in style in front of the Kop and with this being the last game for Jamie Carragher they will want him to go out on the winning side.

The R’s are of course relegated and having conceded 31 goals on the road this season the chances of them keeping Coutinho under wraps this weekend look slim, especially given the recent scathing attack but their own manager Harry Redknapp who was quoted as saying ““Something has got to be done because if you take that team out there at the start of next season we wouldn’t finish in the top half of the Championship.”

This will not have gone down well with the players and we expect Liverpool to run riot at Anfield this weekend with Coutinho sure to be in the points.
