Johnson Searches For 16th Clean Sheet This Weekend

While silverware has once again eluded Liverpool this season the Reds have finished the season strongly and for fantasy managers that is what it is all about heading into the last week of the season.

With 15 clean sheets to his credit Johnson will want to grab another when QPR come to town this weekend.

Last weekend saw Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers make changes at the back that saw Jose Enrique dropped and Andre Wisdom come into the side, but as usual Glen Johnson was ever present at right back.

The England international has picked up 15 clean sheets this season and with the last game of the campaign coming at home against the already relegated QPR he could well be on for yet another clean sheet.

It is also worth noting that this weekend’s game will be the last time we see Jamie Carragher in the red of Liverpool at Anfield and this will drive the Liverpool defence on to keep the R’s out and give Carragher a good send off.

The R’s make the trip to Merseyside already knowing their faith and effectively nothing left to play for in their last game of the season, the R’s have struggled for goals this season, especially on the road and that looks set to continue this weekend.

For fantasy managers Johnson offers up a decent differential shout and one that could not only do well at the back but with one goal and five assists to his credit this season he could well provide attacking returns against a lack luster R’s defence.
