Round 37 is in full swing with three games already having been played and for fantasy premier league managers the break in play until the next game on Saturday will give them time to regroup.
So far it has been a rather disappointing week for the big names that we expected to do so well, with the likes of Bale, Aguero, Mata and Kone all drawing blanks fantasy managers may have to be a little bolder with their weekend team selection.
But with that said there is still a good chance that some of those big names can redeem themselves before the fixture week is out.
With two days to go until the next game it’s time for us to take a closer look at forwards for the impending fixtures and see where the points could come from.
Papiss Cisse (Newcastle) £6.9 million Fixture: QPR (Away)
It wasn’t all that long ago when Papiss Cisse was one of the hottest fantasy premier league prospects around, but after a disappointing season he has seen his ownership rate fall to almost non-existant levels.
Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool) £6.4 million Fixture: Fulham (Away)
Last weekend’s scoreless draw with Everton will not have been the result Liverpool were hoping for as they try and overtake their Merseyside neighbours in the league table and they will be looking to bounce back this weekend against Fulham.
Robin van Persie (Manchester United) £8.5 million Fixture: Swansea (Home)
Well unless you have been living under a rock for the past 24 hours you will by now know that Sir Alex Ferguson has announced his decision to retire at the end of the current season after 26 at the helm at Old Trafford.
